Pan-seared garlic thyme salmon with roasted asparagus.
Not pictured, I served this with garlic rosemary quinoa.
It’s healthy, it’s delicious, and super easy to make.
Apple, mango, and grape crisp.
My own recipe!
The entire dish is rather simple, as all crisp dishes are.
The fruit was lightly sweetened with a mixture of stevia and cinnamon before being topped with a crisp made from rolled oats, flax meal, raw sliced almonds, cinnamon, clove, brown sugar and just enough margarine to hold the topping together.
Very delicious and great for the waistline. :)
Also, I thought I’d include a picture of myself this time. Please excuse bad picture quality.
My dinner tonight. Red wheat berries, grilled basa fish, and fresh green beans.
This was my first attempt at cooking wheat berries. They took a total of 4 hours, cooked in a slow cooker.
Basa (or swai) is your typical firm white fish. It can easily be exchanged for tilapia, though I definitely prefer the flavor of basa.
Stuffed zucchini! Made with ground chicken, various spices, tomatoes, bell peppers, and zucchini.
As a plus, it’s really healthy!
Golden cake, pt 1.
Tyler (imakilldasun) and I were asked to make the top tier of a wedding cake, so yesterday was our test day. This cake was good, but not for a wedding.
As far as decorating goes, by the time we finished the cake itself, we were beat, though we did practice some royal icing flowers.
It’s been awhile since I posted last.
Today, I made strawberry banana waffles!
I used my own recipe, a similar one can be found if you click through the picture.
This was made for my last breakfast with my boyfriend, since he flies back to Vegas tonight.
I forgot to post this on May 21st. (when I actually made it.) It was my rapture tart.
I made it with my friend Tyler, no recipe used.
This was a failed attempt at a giant chocolate souffle, so we turned it into something glorious!
